Collie recently provided town planning services for a Specialist Disability Accommodation development in Knox, which will comprise accommodation for twenty residents plus carers.

SDA accommodation is funded typically under the National Disability Insurance Scheme and provides accessible accommodation for residents who have either extreme functional impairment or very high support needs.

The Collie role was to advise on planning, siting and design requirements to be met in order for the SDA to be exempt from a planning permit.

Our role on the project included also reviewing architectural plans and seeking approval for the proposed on-site car parking.
